Crave

Kind of boring food, mediocre coffee.

At least they open early.

Crave was formerly a good establishment. People would crowd the footpath to sip their reliably good coffee, enjoy an up-market & good quality all-day breakfast menu, & experience attentive, warm service at every turn.

In recent months Crave has changed hands, & has suffered a woeful decline into mediocrity. While their menu is similar to the previous one, it fails to emulate the flavours or experience offered in the past. They charge $17 for a burger with chicken resembling the shredded, dry morsels of a school canteen menu item. Staff are inattentive, disinterested, & rude. They seem not to notice our disappointment when they plonk our food upon the table, nor when we remind them of the drinks we ordered twenty minutes prior (it’s a quiet day). Even the coffee lacks body now, & $8 for a soy smoothie is surely an insult, particularly in this dismal environment.

How can the new management not recognize the harm they have done to Crave’s once sound reputation? Terrigal’s one good (even great) cafĂ© is lost.

m - are you always so grumpy, no wonder you always complain about the service.
Crave has the best coffee...
really good variety of b'fast...
good lunch meals for $10...
when they open at nite they have a DJ & dance floor & the place rocks.
