Crave

Kind of boring food, mediocre coffee.

At least they open early.

Cove cafe

Nice on a weekday morning, but a bit busy on weekends.

Average coffee, too. A shame because it has one of the better locations.

Hoggs Breath, Terrigal

It's a Hoggs Breath, the same as any other.

Large portions of food, pleasant service. The food is of a franchised steakhouse quality. Good enough, especially as you know where you stand (erm... sit.)

This one comes with nice ocean views.

Supermex

Good for 21st birthdays and soaking up beer after a boozy afernoon.

You can get good Mexican food at restaurants. Just not this one.

The chophouse

Dinner is better than lunch.

The acoustics of this restaurant are poor, so if you have dining partners with poor heading go elsewhere.

The dinner meat meals are good. They seem to be using excellent beef.
Be warned that the fish is oily and lets them down.

For lunch they have $10 specials. Remember they are $10 specials, which is the cost of a sandwich and coke in Sydney's CBD) and you won't be disappointed.

Well, you will be, but you won't have wasted much money on it.

The service is a benchmark for what could be trademarked as Terrigal Service (TM.) The staff pay you attention long enough to get you seated and get your order. From then on, you are on your own.

Patchino's

Forgettable.

Honestly, all I remember is the outoor seating.

The Cowrie

You go to the Cowrie for the outstanding view.

In fact if you are going at dinner time ask the staff for a sunset booking. They'll know the time.

Food is good, but not really great. You won't complain, but it's not up to the standard that it should be.

Service is usually good, but when they are busy you can see the cracks showing.

Good, but not as special as it would like to be.
